I consider the New International Version of the Holy Bible to be quiet excellent. I have used this translation almost exclusively because it is both excellent in its accuracy and in its modern understandability. I believe that it is a mistake to jump from translation to translations looking for the "perfect wording" of any given passage. The Spirit speaks through all translations and if your doctrinal point requires specific wording then it is probably wrong. I have found that the truth of the Gospel Message is clearly seen in each and every translation that I have read.
To understand accurately the prophetic passages it is important to read a translation that is consistent with the wording of the original languages, that is, some words or phrases are peculiar in there phraseology and this unique peculiar phraseology must be preserved. The NIV translation has been very good in this regard.
The Authorized King James Version
This version is not copyrighted and can therefore be freely quoted without restriction.
I believe that the KJV is an excellent translation of the Holy Bible, but because of its ancient usage of English words it can be more difficult to understand the original meaning than other more modern translations.
The KJV has a very zealous following and I have been criticized many times for my use of the NIV over the KJV. Many of the KJV devotees seem to think that the KJV is the "original Bible" while all others are degenerations. While I will admit that the wording in the King James Bible is often quite lyrical and beautiful it is not more accurate nor as easy to understand as other more modern translations that are now available. I am more interested in seeing God's meaning in any given passage than in perceiving a beautiful and lyrical rendition. In other words "I want the facts, only the facts, and nothing but the facts."

The NASB is also, in my opinion, an excellent modern translation. I could not say that is is better or worse than the NIV translation. I have used the NIV translation almost exclusively so as not to give the impression that "shopping" for the wording that we want is acceptable, however I could just as easily used the NASB.

Dreamweaver CS3, by Adobe.
This is an excellent web authoring program sold by Adobe Systems Incorporated. This edition is new at this time and I am just beginning to learn to utilize its power. Immediately this software has proved very helpful in creating and maintaining the pages at SeekersTrove.

This book was especially helpful to me in the creation of my automated multiple-choice quizzes. David Flanagan's _ToggleButton JavaScript class was very helpful to me. Without this book I think that my automated quizzes would never have been as interesting or as useful.

What I learned about making an Internet site accessible I learned from this book. It was exceptionally well written and easy to understand. I have had a strong desire to make SeekersTrove.com accessible but didn't really know what was needed or desired. I learned that a desirable side-effect of making a site accessible to persons with disabilities is that it is also much more accessible to people with mobile phones and PDA's. Also Mr. Joe Clark pointed out that Search Sites are the biggest viewers with disabilities and making a site accessible makes it very accessible to the search sites.
Designing CSS Web Pages
Designing
CSS Web Pages, First Edition, by Christopher Schmitt

This book, that is, Christopher Schmitt showed me how to both hide and reveal the explanations to the quiz answers dynamically. This allowed me to scrap the use of frames for this purpose. This ability greatly improved the learning usefulness of the quizzes. Also from this book I learned how to design special style sheets for printing that will enable the printing of many of the articles with black ink only and in a more condensed fashion. This interests me because I want people to print out the articles and printing this way makes it cheaper for people to do this. I hope that people will print out articles and pass them along to friends and other brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Space Remover Utility
In order to make the JavaScript multiple-choice quizzes it was necessary for me to remove all of the invisible text from the questions and answers. This proved to be quite a pain to do by hand, but I downloaded this Space Remover Utility from the www.c-sharpcorner.com. This utility was written by Levent Camlibel and was a great time saver to me. Many thanks.
