Boomerang Behavior

Woe be unto those who prefer to live as heathen
who'd rather a dose of evil than You to believe in
Many have been there and have turned to Light
any who remain dare yearn to abide there in spite

Believers are mandated to take Light to the dark
where deceivers have stated evil life is their lark
We are to go out of our way to share Good News
it's about caring enough not to give way to a ruse

Lord You give us strength and You provide power
when in accord with You we have no right to cower
If we fail to take Love to each one in every place
failure to reach out for Your sake flies in our face

Like a sinner's life unsaved comes home to haunt
we'd best begin to behave as our God would want
Tis not merely the wrongdoer who will pay the cost
but we going along not showing The Way to the lost

On that day we cannot plead we sang to You Savior
we need to stay clear of poor boomerang behavior
Lord God You have called us to a much higher level
not to become involved with such a liar as the devil

No apostle ever led a life filled with a bed of roses
for all possible strife is willed by evil who opposes
Those who ignored You need one day pay the price
we are those who must lead the way to The Christ
