Born Again

Oh Lord our Father God may we do Your will
sharing Your Word with all and not stop until
May we lift You up in all we say and all we do
never ceasing 'til our earthly work is through

Only You know who will actually be born again
ours is to share Thee with all the world's men
For this is the day and this is our primary task
to tell of The Truth even before one should ask

For those of us who are blessed with True Life
'tis our mission to take Love into areas of strife
Not to stir things up so that all good will be lost
but to sow the seed of Christ who paid the cost

Thank You Father for causing The Light to shine
that we might see the glory that is only Thine
Darkness dwelt inside our old divisive hearts
'til we were born again providing us new starts

You gave us Your Son because His Father cared
a wondrous Gift that is ne'er to be left unshared
Glory glory hallelujah shall be our united song
singing praises to Whom came to right wrong

Ours is not to worry where a lost soul has been
but to share Love that calls all to be born again
Father God we rise up to glorify Thy Holy Name
knowing You'll heal a soul from whence it came
