Dear Father God I call out to Thee this day
desiring that You my Father hear what I say
I have faith in You Your Son and Holy Spirit
and although I call softly I know You hear it

Father I pray as I've never prayed before
for I am distraught and dismayed and more
My words may not be clear in this my prayer
yet through eyes blurred I see You are there

Take me Lord from my depths to Thy peak
make me know I am kept for I am so weak
I seek Thee Oh Lord in this neediest hour
keep me so close all my enemies will cower

Father God as I call unto You I seek Peace
I pray my tears fall upon Thy Lamb's fleece
Lord in Thee I find my soul's sole serenity
a peace of mind needing no other amenity

Hear this humble prayer with my needs
for I have stumbled and my heart bleeds
Father I call I pray I seek with true hope
that You Lord will heal my ability to cope

With all my heart Lord I have sought Thee
I have fallen hard and sins have caught me
Oh how I need The Peace that I have found
Father only now I finally feel safe and sound
