All I Want For Christmas

Father all I want for Christmas this year is to never cause You even one more tear

All I want for Christmas and all I ever need is to follow Your voice wherever You may lead

No returns...no complaints...and no denying just a life lived for You so it's always edifying

You have given me Your Only Begotten Son I think it's time I live to praise The Holy One

Rather than live to see where I can go faster I need walk a path leading to just one Master

All You have provided thus far I've barely used and when I did I never acted as if I was enthused

Every year You have given me all I have needed including clear instructions I have seldom heeded

This year may I open what You have given before and show I am aware I have never needed more

All I really want to do during this Christmas season is to live each day as if You are really The Reason

Yes all I want for Christmas and all I'll really need is to live the life Your Holy Son has guaranteed

If I use the gifts You have already lovingly given I'll approach each day as if I'm truly Spirit-driven

Father cause me to be a bright light just for You so others may see only You in what I say and do

Wise men found Your Son by the brightest star may I lead others to desire who You really are

All I want for Christmas is for You Father to see me use all the gifts You have already given me
