On the night before our Savior's birth few knew of His truly priceless worth Though prophesied for centuries before truth was oft replaced by worthless lore

Word that Messiah would come to this land caused a stir among elders with ruling hand Here was God sent to be born of Virgin Mary told by an angel of The One she would carry

On that night God shined the brightest star wise men brought gifts from wide and far Gifts they brought were the not second best only the finest while leaving behind the rest

Oh Dear God help us lead others to believe Thy Light is theirs when Christ they receive Cause us to share Him before it is too late precious lives are lost as long as we hesitate

The Christ born in such a humble beginning sent into a world overcome by evil sinning Born in an open manger instead of the inn to abide in our hearts and cleanse us of sin

We know the beauty of Your Christmas story You gifted us and now we give You the glory Hallelujah to Jesus The Christ God's Only Son we join hands to praise Thy Wonderful One
