Lord God when losses come as losses will we can turn to the promises that You fulfill Sometimes answers arrive before we ask even for the troubles we've tried to mask

Other times we must be patient and wait You then see how we anxiously anticipate If there seems no answer to our question it's because we phrased it as a suggestion

You are The Source we need to approach only You are The Force beyond reproach Father You are all the strength we need if we'll have the faith of a mustard seed

We can have faith to crumble mountains not to be overcome as flies in fountains As we sit woefully near our window sill it is easier to fret than to seek Your will

Lord we hand our woes to Thee in praise burdens lighten as skyward hands we raise If we'd turned our troubles to You at first we'd not just wait for our bubbles to burst

You are there for us every hour every day if we will stop self-pity and begin to pray Forgive us for unjust solutions of our own let us trust true wisdom You have shown
