There Is Joy

Oh Lord clothe us in Your redemptive powers
that we might bloom as Your freshest flowers
May Your effervescence be our familiar glow
as we share the love of this Jesus we know

May tears of joy flow through gladdened eyes
the moment someone nearby comes to realize
A newly discovered life in Christ Jesus begins
when they have asked Him to cleanse their sins

At the point when one soul bows to fully repent
joy fills the air with our Lord's magnificent scent
If we will listen quietly we can hear angels sing
songs of glories Your gift of New Life will bring

Satan frowns as choirs of angels gladly rejoice
as one heard Your call and now hears Thy voice
'Come to me child no matter how you are broken
hear these words of peace The I Am has spoken'

Lord Your bountiful garden has a brand new bud
ready to bloom and washed by Thy Son's blood
Angels sing praises to Christ and all His beauty
glorifying in Him is every angel's favorite duty

Oh let us rejoice in each soul's glorious rebirth
a new disciple lives for Christ upon this earth
One's new life in Christ will never be the same
Lord we join with angels in praising Your Name
