No Changing Rooms in Heaven

Heavenly Father we like to say we will change then we see what bother it will be to rearrange Changes are oft no more than dreams we claim for in our daily living it seems we go on the same

New resolutions mean little unless they are firm as brittle delusions they're useless for long term Some of us take the tack of changing on our own come Monday we're back to ways we have known

Lord how many times have we said this is my year only to see signs of true changes simply disappear When Christ returns it will be as a snap of fingers no surprise to see us in Satan's lap as life lingers

Now's the hour for us to atone and mend our ways by Power be known not to pretend we've more days To live any other way is to trek in areas of danger may we give a life we've wrecked to Thy Changer

Lord until we turn to Thee for ways lasting forever our souls shall waste away in worthless endeavors Jesus The Christ came to earth to change sinful lives paying the price that frees for a rebirth that survives

Father God may we not think He will stay suspended while we change the old ways that never really ended When bread has baked it is too late to add the leaven so then up ahead we see no changing rooms in Heaven
