"There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?" John 6:9

What Good Will Mine Do

Denis Brent Rees

Heavenly Father I come now with this riddle why should someone as I bother to give little I have read The Scripture of the widow's mite and yet I cannot picture such a window of light

Lord I have examined all I have here for myself for I am poor and there is a famine on my shelf I've no coins in my couch and none in my pocket nor in my pouch and no goings-on on my docket

It seems I've nil in tender or talents to put to use normal lenders see my balance and set me loose Now I have told You Lord why I so seldom bother how I'm cold yet some are hot to serve you Father

John related the story of a lad's meal he'd brought on a date when Thy Glory had lessons to be taught Philip and Andrew were among those with a doubt as the crowds grew doubt arose how to work it out

Many thousands followed Thy Son in hope to be fed anyone would find it hard to swallow what was said Christ Jesus wanted to feed every person who came each apostle was surprised and others felt the same

Heavenly Father I do know how those apostles felt my soul'd be pothered as that possibility was dealt Lord God take all I have like the loaves and fishes for it came from You and I am to fulfill Thy wishes

In The Name of Christ Jesus

Amen!
