Remember, in those distant days
When Adam was cast out ?
When Satan could rejoice in all
His work had brought about ?

Remember how that God did place
The angels on the East
And thus prevent returning Man
From greatest unto least ?

Has it never struck you,
Or ever thought it odd
That Adam could have cleverly,
With skill, outwitted God ?

If Adam did but travel far,
From East unto the West,
He could circumvent the Angels
And in Eden he'd be blest.

If Adam went just North or South
He'd manage to outwit
The Angels on the East because
The Guardpost they can't quit.

If this were true, and not just lies
Then we would all be quite surprised
For if young Adam did return
Then why would we for Heaven yearn ?

In fact we have the wrong idea
If we begin to seek
Between the Tigris and Euphrates
(I think someone went this week !)

For Eden is no longer here
And we will seek in vain.
The place is sealed up, that is clear
From those with Adam's stain.

And Paradise is Eden
As the Scripture clearly states,
So can we know the answer
Or do we have to wait ?

Not so, for Paul was caught up
To the heaven number three,
And he did call it Paradise.
(What does that mean to thee ?)

Well, Paradise is Eden
As the Scripture plainly says.
And now we know some more of God,
And more about His ways.

For Eden did lift off the Earth,
To Heaven it did rise.
And Paul, remember, called the name
Of this place 'Paradise.'

The Angels placed upon the East
With swords drawn in their hands.
No longer stand upon the Earth
With feet upon the land.

The Angel with the Flaming Sword
From Heaven bars the way.
Between the Heaven and the Earth
And still he guards today.

If you want access to Above
You need to know the God of Love.
Two angels He will send to you
When days upon this Earth are through.

And they will take you safely past
The Flaming Sword, to Heaven, at last.
For that which Adam failed to do,
Christ did win for me and you.
