HOW DO YOU GROW IN THIS FAMILY?
The following ways for growth come from God Himself:
BIBLE STUDY
- God's Word is food for your soul.
1PE 2:2 "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that
by it you may grow up in your salvation,
3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good."
PRAYER
- Talk to the Lord as your Father and friend.
MAT 6:6 "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
GOD'S STRENGTH
- As you speak to Christ, ask Him for His power and guidance in your life. Ask Him to fill you with His Spirit and help you live to please and honor Him.
ACTS 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
FELLOWSHIP
- Become a functioning member of a Bible believing church.
HEB 10:25 "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
WITNESS
- Share with others what Jesus Christ has done for you.
MAR 16:15 "He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
