• What does it mean that death is swallowed up in victory?
      1. Right Answer! It means that those that are alive in the body need never see physical death.
        • This is the best answer. After this day many will die, but strictly speaking they need not. We are told directly that those of the First Resurrection will live a thousand years. Also look at this Scripture that is speaking of the time after the Rapture, (during the Millennial Kingdom Age.)
        • Isaiah 65:20, 22
"Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth; he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.
22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the works of their hands. (NIV)
      2. It means that this is the last day and everyone must face their maker, some receive eternal rewards, and others eternal torment.
        • No. The Millennial Kingdom Age will occur after this.
      3. It means that on that same day Satan will die.
        • No. We are told in Scripture that at the sounding of the last trumpet Satan is cast out of heaven down to the earth and he will be there for three and a half years, then he will be captured and locked in Hell for a thousand years. So this can hardly be the last day.
      4. All of the above.
        • No, (a.) above is the best.
