    1. Because Israel is fabulously wealthy and has no military.

    1. They don't.
    2. God destroys the invading army.
    3. The invading army sees Israel's faith and becomes fearful and returns home.
    4. Israel gathers a small army and they utterly abolish the invading army without a single loss of their own.

     

  5. Why does God allow Israel to be tested in this way?
    1. God is not in control of the World, Sin just makes people do wicked things.
    2. Because Israel was starting to drift into error.
    3. To show Israel her faith, and to show her that all of the problems that she had were her fault.
