The
enemies of Christ.- The communists of the world.

does Israel overcome this vast army?
- They don't.
God
destroys the invading army.- The invading army sees Israel's faith and becomes fearful and returns home.
- Israel gathers a small army and they utterly abolish the invading army without a single loss of their own.
- Why
does God allow Israel to be tested in this way?
- God is not in control of the World, Sin just makes people do wicked things.
- Because Israel was starting to drift into error.
To
show Israel her faith, and to show her that all of the problems that
she had were her fault.- Because God is hard and he never stops testing.
